PURPOSE

The purpose of the Family Life Center (hereafter referred to as the FLC) and the Recreation Ministry of Fort Johnson Baptist Church is to under gird and assist the organizations of the church, to provide creative and meaningful leisure-time activities for its members and guests in a Christian atmosphere and setting, and to reach and develop people for the glory of God.

GOALS

The goals of Fort Johnson Baptist Church Recreation ministry are:

1. To draw the unsaved to hear the gospel.
2. To attract those not involved in a church into the fellowship of the church.
3. To deepen relationships of church members through participation together.
4. To provide a tool for reaching out to others.
5. To challenge people to Godliness by example and expectations.
6. To provide a Christian setting for meaningful leisure-time activities.
7. To teach participants new recreational skills for increased enjoyment and health.
8. To strengthen family life.
9. To teach God's children how to have fun.
